Behold the latest musical instrument from Yamaha - the Tenori-On. Its the first ever "visible musical interface". The Tenori-On is based around a 16X16 matrix of touch-sensitive LED switches that are "not mere input switches, like the keys on a keyboard, but function as individual displays that emit light that emulates intuitively the related sound".
